Sea Machines is seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Associate to support day-to-day purchasing, inventory management, material planning, shipping, and supplier coordination from our Boston-based office.
You will process purchase orders, obtain supplier quotes, track shipments, and maintain accurate records while collaborating with engineering, production, and finance teams to prevent shortages and resolve discrepancies.

We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and proactiveSupply ChainAssociatetosupportday to daypurchasing, inventory management, material planning, shipping, and supplier coordination activities. Responsibilities include processing purchase orders, obtaining supplier quotes,trackingbothinbound and outbounddeliveries,maintainingaccurateinventory records, coordinating inbound shipments, updating supply chain systems, and communicating material shortages or schedule risks.This position works closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure materials are available whenneededand supply chain activities are completed accurately and on time.
Support day-to-day purchasing, inventory management, material planning, and supplier coordination activities.
Prepare and process purchase orders, request supplier quotes, and compare pricing, lead times, and availability.
Follow up with suppliers on order acknowledgements, delivery dates,backorders, and overdue materials.
Maintainaccuratesupplier,part, pricing, inventory, and purchasing records in the company’s systems.
Track open purchase orders and communicate material shortages, supplier delays, and schedule risks.
Work closely with Logistics Operations to help track inbound and outbound shipments and communicate shipment status to internal teams.
Coordinate with engineering, production, finance, and other internal teams to confirm material requirements and resolvepurchasingor inventory discrepancies.
Support inventory replenishment, supplier performance tracking,purchasingreports, cost-control efforts, and supply chain improvement activities.
Associate orBachelor’s degreeinBusiness,Management, ora relatedfield preferred.
One to three years of experience in purchasing, inventory management, supply chain, manufacturing, or a related role.
Strong communicationskills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
Proficiencywith Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications.
Experience using an ERP, MRP,purchasing, or inventory management system is preferred.
