Job summary

Sensaria is seeking a Supply Chain Assistant at our Morrisville, NC headquarters. The role focuses on material flow, inventory accuracy, and supporting purchasing activities within a manufacturing environment.

You will assist with receiving, tracking, and distributing raw materials, while maintaining organized warehouse spaces and following FIFO practices. Forklift operation and safety are part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment; inventory or logistics experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Epicor) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against POs, packing slips, BOLs, and ERP records.
• Track inbound shipments and coordinate transfers; resolve delivery discrepancies.
• Allocate and issue raw materials to production per schedules; perform transactions in ERP.
• Conduct cycle counts, month-end reconciliations, and quarterly inventories.

Job description

We are in search of a Supply Chain Assistant to support our team at our Morrisville, NC headquarters location. What we're looking for:

ROLE PURPOSE

The Supply Chain Assistant is responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling the flow of raw materials, supplies, and inventory to support manufacturing operations. This role ensures production materials are available to meet customer delivery requirements while maintaining accurate inventory levels, supporting purchasing activities, and driving continuous improvement across warehouse and supply chain processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against POs, packing slips, BOLs, and ERP records.
• Track inbound shipments, coordinate Inter-Facility Transfers, and resolve delivery discrepancies with suppliers and carriers.
• Allocate and issue raw materials to Production per manufacturing schedules.
• Process receiving, inventory, purchasing, and material movement transactions in the ERP system.
• Perform cycle counts, month-end reconciliations, and quarterly physical inventories to maintain accuracy.
• Monitor inventory levels and usage trends; initiate replenishment as needed.
• Maintain organized warehouse locations, enforce FIFO, and report supplier quality issues.
• Analyze material usage and waste to reduce scrap and improve inventory control.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support daily operations and resolve inventory variances.
• Support continuous improvement across inventory, warehouse, and supply chain processes.
• Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to support warehouse operations.

ADDITIONAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready inventory area.
• Assist with training and provide day-to-day guidance to Supply Chain Assistants and warehouse personnel.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Follow all company safety policies and standard operating procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support business operations.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree in supply chain, Business, Logistics, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
• 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment; inventory or logistics experience strongly preferred.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Epicor, or similar) preferred.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, basic formulas) required.
• Valid forklift certification, or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
