Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Supply Chain Asset Protection to oversee shortage reduction across our distribution network.

The role partners with DC AP teams, Inventory Control, Logistics and Operations to identify theft and loss origin points at Burlington DCs and Pool Points, and to implement proactive mitigation. You will travel up to 75% annually, lead investigations, develop audits, and coach field teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Wicklander-Zulawski Interviewing Certificate and CFI (Certified Forensic Interviewer) a plus.
• Minimum 3-5 years of Logistics and/or Supply Chain related experience.
• Strategic understanding of the retail loss prevention and security environment with a proven record of influencing change.
• Experience in distribution / supply chain environment and physical security expertise.
• Relevant experience in successful partnership development, program implementation and ongoing review to ensure achievement of company asset protection and physical security objectives.
• Team development, succession planning and implementing investigative strategies.

Responsibilities

• Assess, develop, and implement shortage awareness programs for Pool Points.
• Collaborate with DC Asset Protection, Logistics, Inventory Control, Operations, Field AP, Store Ops to drive AP objectives and shortage programs.
• Lead internal and external theft investigations with field AP and Investigations teams.
• Develop audits to validate AP objectives, processes, and security standards.
• Coordinate with DC Inventory to validate adjustments for pool point damaged product across systems.
• Train AP Field and Stores teams on Pool Point best practices.
• Analyze audit results with Supply Chain and AP to improve shortage execution.
