Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1 year of inventory/auditing/transportation experience preferred.
• Fundamental understanding of transportation, supply chain and logistics.
• Ability to learn and operate various inventory and transportation management systems.
• Ability to follow processes and procedures.
• Data analysis skills required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all processes and functions of a department and provide visibility to management by tracking, process oversight, auditing, researching and troubleshooting operational issues or functions.
• Assist in supply chain activities: weigh or count items for distribution, track and trace, production schedule analysis, and exception management to ensure optimal material flow.
• Assist in developing and presenting customer analytics, key trends, and solution proposals during meetings; contribute to continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
• Collaborate with customers to resolve stock shortages, meet deadlines, and improve inventory and material flow; communicate critical issues to management and customers.
• Examine current processes and implement improvements to reduce waste; support process and transportation design changes.
• Work with suppliers to correct part/shipment issues and track shipments to meet deadlines; coordinate with carriers to resolve issues in transit or at customer facilities.
• Take on other projects as assigned by the Manager.
