Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's in Industrial/Systems Engineering or related field
• Rising junior or senior standing
• Proficiency with MS Excel
• Working knowledge of Python, R, or SQL
• Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Apply operations research and data analytics methods to a logistics, scheduling, or inventory management challenge identified during the division's process improvement initiative
• Build and validate an optimization or analytics model using data from existing reporting, tracking, and automation tools
• Audit and stress-test data flowing through reports and tools to confirm accuracy before deployment
• Translate technical findings into a business case for leadership
• Collaborate with logistics, scheduling, purchasing, and IT/automation teammates to scope and document the project
• Support continuous improvement of supply chain, logistics, scheduling, and inventory management processes
