Morgan Foods, Inc. is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst – Transportation/Customer Service for an on-site role in Austin, IN. You will coordinate inbound and outbound shipment appointments and support transportation and customer service operations in a manufacturing setting.

The role requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in Excel, and excellent communication with carriers and customers to maintain schedules and resolve issues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Clerical and/or administrative experience.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Customer service focus with strong communication skills.
• Ability to understand and learn information relevant to the transportation economy.
• Ability to prioritize multiple demands in a dynamic shipping and manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and maintain appointments for all inbound and outbound shipments.
• Download and distribute daily schedules using Excel.
• Monitor the shipping schedule throughout the day to confirm on-time pickups for all outbound shipments.
• Work closely with carriers and customers to research, schedule, and reschedule inbound and outbound appointments as needed throughout the day.
• Perform random audits of shipping and inventory functions.
• Provide backup support for Customer Service as needed.
• Work closely with 3PL transportation providers to assist with problem-solving as needed.
• Serve as the backup to the Transportation Manager, including updating files for the weekly meeting.
