Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to support our remote operations team for the Free State region. The role focuses on optimizing flow of goods, inventory management, and efficient logistics for FMCG products in a fully remote setup.

You will collaborate with suppliers, distributors, and internal stakeholders to maintain smooth, cost-effective supply chain operations and drive continuous improvement across processes and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain coordination or logistics.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and planning software.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Effective communication for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily supply chain operations including inventory management, order fulfillment, and logistics planning for FMCG products.
• Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize stock and reduce shortages/excess inventory.
• Liaise with suppliers and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods.
• Utilize supply chain software and digital tools to track shipments, manage orders, and analyze performance data.
