We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Analyst who understands the operational side of supply chain management and knows how to turn complex data into practical business solutions.

This role sits within our Business Intelligence function and serves as a critical connection between supply chain, finance, operations, and the technical teams responsible for data and reporting.

The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in inventory management, materials planning, and supply chain operations, combined with the analytical ability to understand what data is needed to answer important business questions.

This is not a traditional reporting or dashboard development position. We need someone who understands the business behind the numbers and can explain what the data needs to tell us.

What You’ll Do:

• Partner with supply chain, finance, and operations leaders to understand business challenges and turn them into actionable analytical questions.
• Analyze inventory, supply, and planning data to identify performance gaps, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Evaluate relationships between service levels, safety stock, inventory turns, working capital, and supply chain costs.
• Quantify the financial and operational impact of inventory and supply chain decisions.
• Translate business questions into data requirements, identifying necessary fields, sources, and reporting outputs.
• Collaborate with business intelligence developers and data engineering teams to establish requirements for dashboards, reporting, and repeatable analytical processes.
• Validate reporting outputs and data accuracy to ensure the information answers the original business question.
• Present findings, recommendations, and opportunities to operational and executive leadership.
• Support improvements in supply chain planning, inventory management, and sales and operations processes.
• Document methodologies, assumptions, and analytical approaches to support consistency and future reporting.
• Help develop scalable processes and analytical capabilities as the business intelligence function continues to evolve.

What We’re Looking For:

• Approximately 5+ years of experience in supply chain planning, inventory management, materials management, or supply planning within manufacturing or distribution. Stronger domain expertise with fewer years will be considered.
• Strong understanding of MRP, safety stock, fill rates, inventory turns, service levels, and how these measures impact business performance.
• Ability to take a business problem, determine what data is needed to solve it, and communicate those requirements to technical teams.
• Advanced Excel experience, including PivotTables, lookups, data cleansing, reconciliation, and analysis.
• Working understanding of SQL concepts and relational databases. Advanced SQL development is not required.
• Ability to partner with BI developers without needing to personally build dashboards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical information to nontechnical stakeholders.
• Critical thinking, problem-solving ability, and a willingness to work through situations without predefined processes.
• Collaborative mindset and comfort working across multiple departments.

Nice to Have:

• Oracle ERP experience, particularly within inventory, MRP, or item master data.
• Multi-site manufacturing or distribution experience.
• Experience supporting S&OP/SIOP planning initiatives.
• Automotive aftermarket or related manufacturing experience.
• Experience partnering with business intelligence or data engineering teams on reporting requirements.

Compensation & Work Arrangement:

• Compensation: $95,000–$110,000 annualized, with flexibility for exceptional candidates.
• Location: Olive Branch, Mississippi.
• Schedule: Onsite preferred; hybrid and remote arrangements will be considered.
• Employment Type: Contract with potential conversion to full-time.
• Start: Immediate need.
