Job Description: Supply Chain Analyst

We have a client in Palo Alto, CA, seeking a Supply Chain Analyst for a hybrid onsite role (Tuesdays and Thursdays). This is a 10+ month contract with an electric vehicle company entering production. The role involves supporting parts procurement, working with suppliers, and tracking deliveries.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our procurement team. The primary responsibilities include managing Bill of Materials (BOM) lists and ensuring efficient delivery tracking. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with procurement team members, internal stakeholders, and suppliers, maintain accurate records, and ensure timely delivery of materials.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and maintain BOM lists, ensuring all components are accurately listed and updated.
2. Coordinate with suppliers to confirm order details, delivery schedules, and resolve discrepancies.
3. Track deliveries and update internal systems to reflect current status, ensuring timely and accurate information for stakeholders.
4. Analyze delivery performance, report issues or delays, and propose solutions to mitigate risks.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to keep information current.
6. Assist in preparing procurement reports and presentations for management.
7. Support continuous improvement initiatives within procurement processes.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, focusing on BOM and delivery tracking.
• Experience with Oracle ERP, Google applications, and MS Office tools.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Problem-solving mindset and adaptability to changing priorities.
