Job summary

Electronic Power Design, Inc. seeks a highly analytical Supply Chain Analyst to optimize material flow, forecast demand and drive inventory improvements. You will support MRP, Kanban, PFEP, and BOM evaluation while partnering with Purchasing, Fabrication, Warehouse and Operations teams.

Required: Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2+ years in supply chain or manufacturing, with strong data analytics, problem solving and communication skills. On-site Houston role.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years of supply chain, engineering, or manufacturing experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems, inventory control, and material planning.
  • Ability to communicate complex data clearly and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Plan For Every Part (PFEP) strategies.
  • Analyze demand forecasts, inventory levels, and material requirements.
  • Support Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Kanban replenishment systems.
  • Evaluate Bills of Material (BOMs) and recommend material solutions.
  • Monitor inventory health and identify material shortages.
  • Analyze historical usage trends and recommend lot size and reorder point adjustments.
  • Lead warehouse improvement initiatives including layout optimization and rack organization.
  • Conduct Kanban analysis and support replenishment planning.
  • Develop criteria and recommendations for obsolete inventory management.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process efficiency improvements.
  • Utilize ERP systems, Excel, VBA, Python, and analytics tools to support decision-making.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and inventory performance metrics.
  • Monitor KPIs related to inventory health, Kanban compliance, and PFEP execution.
  • Analyze operational data and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Support capacity planning and supply chain improvement initiatives.
  • Mentor Associate Supply Chain Analysts and support professional development.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing, Fabrication, Warehouse, and Operations teams.
  • Train stakeholders on Kanban updates and process changes.
  • Support Supply Chain leadership with strategic recommendations.
  • Participate in cross-functional process improvement projects.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety and operational standards.
  • Support process audits and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Promote sustainable inventory and warehouse practices.
  • Maintain accurate supply chain documentation and reporting.
  • Support regulatory and operational compliance requirements.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly analytical and process-driven Supply Chain Analyst to support EPD's material flow, inventory optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role plays a key part in Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Kanban execution, inventory control, and warehouse optimization efforts. What You'll Do
Supply Chain Planning & Analysis

  • Experience with VBA, Python, AutoCAD, or advanced analytics tools.
