Job summary

Dahl Consulting is seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst for a 12-month contract in Forest City, IA. The role focuses on intercompany orders, inventory reporting, and cross-functional coordination to optimize product flow across manufacturing and distribution networks.

You will support day-to-day supply chain operations, monitor inventory and shipment activity, and maintain reporting processes to drive business decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with enterprise systems and software relevant to supply chain operations.
• Proficiency with SAP ERP, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other business applications.
• Basic knowledge of supply chain functions including demand planning, warehousing, transportation, inventory management, materials control, and import/export processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate information and recommend solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a structured environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage intercompany orders across international manufacturing plants and distribution centers.
• Investigate order status issues and resolve shipment discrepancies, delays, and back-orders.
• Support reporting activities related to demand planning, order management, inventory management, and financial metrics.
• Execute established supply chain processes across planning, warehousing, transportation, inventory control, and import/export operations.
• Monitor operational performance using tracking systems and provide updates on progress, risks, and results.
• Analyze data to identify issues, evaluate alternatives, and support operational decision-making.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment and inventory management.
• Share best practices and operational knowledge with team members as appropriate.
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

Job Description

• Execute established supply chain processes and procedures across areas such as supply planning, warehousing, transportation, inventory control, materials management, and import/export operations.
• Monitor operational performance using tracking systems and provide updates on progress, risks, and results.

• Basic knowledge of supply chain functions, including demand planning, warehousing, transportation, inventory management, materials control, and import/export processes.

Preferred

• Experience supporting global or international supply chain operations.

• Demonstrated ability to identify process improvement opportunities and share best practices across teams.
