Position Profile

Title: Analyst - Supply Chain Management

Reports to: Senior Manager - Supply Chain Management

About the Role

The Analyst – Supply Chain Management is responsible for supporting day-to-day pharmaceutical supply chain operations while contributing to continuous process improvement through data analysis and reporting. This is an individual contributor role requiring strong attention to detail, operational discipline, high level analysis and cross-functional collaboration. During the first year, approximately 70% of the role will focus on operational execution and 30% on analysis and continuous improvement. By approximately Month 18, the role is expected to transition toward a 40% operational / 60% analytical focus, subject to individual performance and business needs.

  • Analyze order fulfilment performance, shipment metrics, and backorder trends.
  • Monitor inventory, product expiry, and cold-chain compliance.
  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including required documentation.
  • Partner with Finance, Quality, Regulatory, Sales, and Customer Service teams to ensure compliance and service excellence.
  • Other responsibilities and duties as required/requested
  • Track and monitor inbound shipments from manufacturing sites and CMOs to third-party logistics (3PL) warehouses.
  • Ensure all shipment documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant to facilitate timely receipt at 3PL facilities.
  • Coordinate and track FDA release, customs clearance, and import-related activities to ensure uninterrupted product availability.
  • Work closely with freight forwarders, customs brokers, manufacturing sites, and warehouse partners to resolve shipment delays and logistics issues.
  • Manage product destruction and donation programs, including vendor coordination, inventory disposition, documentation, and compliance requirements.
  • Perform inventory adjustments and stock reconciliations in SAP as required.
  • Process Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs) in SAP for logistics, warehouse, and operational service providers as well as Vendor creation and maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate system transactions and documentation to ensure inventory and financial integrity.
  • Review, validate, and reconcile warehouse, transportation, and freight invoices for billing accuracy.
  • Implement a standardized and automated freight invoice reconciliation process.
  • Develop and maintain a monthly 3PL performance scorecard with defined service metrics.
  • Establish inventory and product expiry exception reporting to improve inventory visibility and reduce write-offs.
  • Improve shipment documentation accuracy and visibility across domestic and international shipments.
  • Support KPI reporting and identify process improvement opportunities through operational data analysis.

This role is designed to provide a structured career path from operational execution to analytical ownership. Upon successful completion of the first-year operational objectives and demonstrated capability in process improvement, the role will progressively expand to include increased responsibility for KPI development, dashboard creation, automation initiatives, inventory analytics, and cross-functional supply chain projects. At approximately Month 18, responsibilities, job title, and compensation band will be formally reviewed based on individual performance, business needs, and demonstrated readiness for an expanded role.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree or relevant advanced degree
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in supply chain operations in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Demonstrates excellent skills in analytical reasoning with a high degree of skill and accuracy working with calculations and numbers
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry desired
  • Ability to work individually, with a multi-disciplinary team, as well as withexternal partners and vendors
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong computer skills, including forecasting applications, database management tools, spreadsheet application, report writing and presentation tools
