Job Summary

To support our teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Supply Chain Analyst located in Columbia, SC.

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the Supply Chain Analyst will assist with customer interface on strategic materials for key accounts, develop GPSC reports, research data trends, and facilitate decision-making.

What a Typical Day Looks Like:

1. Drive sourcing and pricing strategies for material quotations.
2. Present value-added materials insights to customers or suppliers.
3. Interface with customers and suppliers during new project start-ups regarding cost issues.
4. Develop and guide implementation of flexibility and supply assurance plans.
5. Manage component costs on local, regional, and global levels.
6. Track financial performance of materials and initiate corrective actions as needed.
7. Define and implement pricing and costing strategies.
8. Coordinate sourcing strategies with Supply Management and Customers.
9. Develop and execute cost reduction strategies.
10. Increase Vendor Managed Inventory, reduce guide-time, and expand electronic data interfaces.
11. Negotiate regional supplier contracts, including memorandums, non-disclosure, and regional pricing agreements.
12. Measure and report Purchase Price Variance, and develop action plans.
13. Monitor supplier delivery times and mitigate shortages or excess inventory.
14. Participate in global and regional commodity teams.
15. Contribute to quarterly scorecards on top spend suppliers.
16. Manage material cost reviews and optimize gross material margin.
17. Identify opportunities to increase turnkey business and develop materials management plans.
18. Coordinate quarterly/monthly PPV review processes.

Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in finance, materials sourcing, commodity management, or supply chain management.
• Experience in supply chain and contract manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Understanding of cost accounting, electronic component markets, and price trends.
• Strong background in electronics manufacturing and OEM product development processes.
