Base pay range

$70,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

Akkodis is seeking a Jr Supply Chain Analyst for a full-time remote position with our logistics team as we’re partnered with the leader for building the largest national infrastructure for electric vehicle “Fueling Stations of the Future” by investing in a range of current and future charging technologies that will provide open and ubiquitous access to EV drivers along highways, in metro areas, at multi-unit dwellings, at workplaces, and through new mobility programs. Qualified candidate must possess at least a strong history of internships and/or greater than 1-2 years of professional experience as a Supply Chain professional with a current/prior background in service parts highly preferred. Experience within the automotive parts industry and APICS Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) are highly preferential. Requires up to 15% annual travel to the Virginia area.

Pay Range: $70,000 to $85,000/yr (salary commensurate based on experience, education, geographic locations, and other factors).

Jr Supply Chain Analyst job responsibilities include:

The Supply Chain Associate is responsible for supporting and optimizing our capital asset recycling program. This role will be instrumental in executing the end-to-end process of capital asset recycling, including harvesting reusable parts, tracking serialized components, coordinating domestic shipments, tracking part harvest yields, adjust recycling plan in accordance to yields, and ensuring accurate completion of asset disposal documentation. The associate will serve as a key liaison between internal stakeholders, warehouse operations, and up to two or three third-party service providers, ensuring seamless communication, accountability, and process integrity.

A strong candidate will be highly organized, comfortable working across multiple teams and vendors, and capable of navigating a dynamic and detail-intensive environment. The candidate will work closely with other internal personnel including Supply Chain Service Parts, Field Services, Service Operations and the Network Operation Center to ensure all requirements within organization are optimized to support the needs and ultimately achieve optimized equipment uptimes and customer satisfaction.

Main responsibility – (assign % of time spent)

Serial Number and Asset Tracking – 30%

  • Maintain detailed records of all serialized components.
  • Update tracking systems to ensure full traceability throughout the disposal process.
  • Ensure compliance with internal asset management policies.

Shipment Coordination – 30%

  • Schedule and organize shipments of assets and harvested parts between facilities and vendors.
  • Prepare shipping documentation and ensure proper labeling.
  • Resolve logistics issues and monitor status updates from carriers and warehouse teams.

Asset Disposal Documentation – 20%

  • Complete and submit disposal forms accurately and on time.
  • Maintain compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with finance, IT, and compliance teams as needed.

Warehouse & 3rd Party Service Provider Coordination – 15%

  • Communicate regularly with warehouse staff to manage asset flow and inventory accuracy.
  • Coordinate with 2–3 third-party service providers for pickup, processing, or recycling.
  • Monitor SLAs and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Coordinate with warehousing partners and subcontractors to maintain seamless operations.

Process Improvement & Reporting – 5%

  • Identify process bottlenecks and suggest improvements.
  • Assist in reporting key metrics and status updates to stakeholders.

Contribute to documentation and training materials for the recycling program.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree is required, preferably supply chain or related field such as business administration.
  • One year or greater professional experience as a Supply Chain Analyst is required for this junior-level role. Will focus on expediting from vendors, managing inventory levels, robust MS Excel skills and proven data analysis skills. Experience with supplier performance management is beneficial along with a background in service parts.
  • Supply Chain analytic experience directly associated within the automotive parts industry is highly preferential.
  • APICS Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) is highly preferential.
  • Strong oral, written, and formal communication and presentation skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas in simple ways to all levels of the organization, including the executive level. Comfortable with and able to impose form and structure on ambiguous situations.
  • Must be a strong owner and influencer, along with being creative and confident, enthusiastic problem solver with superior analytical and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to dive in and quickly understand the root cause and identify scalable solutions/countermeasures.
