Position Summary:

A Supply Chain Analyst will maintain solutions related to the customer agreement and may recommend and implement changes to improve efficiency and provide cost savings. The role requires customer interactions and representation of Penske in meetings. The analyst will work between Operations and the customer to support logistics solutions and cost-saving opportunities. Responsibilities include managing Transportation Management processes, optimizing shipment routes, and ensuring solutions meet customer requirements.

Major Responsibilities:

• Analyze load planning, historical activity, and customer trends to recommend cost-effective optimizations.
• Support the design and implementation of supply chain solutions.
• Identify and pursue cost savings opportunities.
• Conduct ongoing analysis and tasks to drive continuous cost savings.
• Review current processes and recommend improvements to eliminate waste.
• Monitor key performance indicators and perform root cause analysis using TM systems.
• Interact with customers to resolve issues and coordinate implementations.
• Create and distribute weekly customer metrics and performance reports.
• Develop dashboards and analytics to meet customer deadlines.
• Present analytics, trends, and proposals during customer QBRs.
• Apply network changes and synchronize with TM system.
• Document standard operating procedures.
• Track cost savings projects and update trackers monthly.
• Use discretion to respond to customer requests and propose solutions.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to resolve problems and support implementations.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's preferred.
• 1 year of analytics/transportation experience preferred.
• Understanding of transportation, supply chain, and logistics.
• Advanced computer skills, including Excel.
• Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and multitask.
• Experience analyzing large data sets preferred.
• Regular attendance is essential.
• Willingness to travel, work hours as needed, and undergo background checks and drug screening.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to read, communicate, analyze information, and follow instructions.
• Stand, walk, sit, and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
• Visual abilities include close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception.
