Job summary

Ebara Elliott Energy seeks a Supplier Technical Coordinator to act as the primary technical liaison with approved suppliers of fabricated and machined components. You will clarify Elliott drawings and specifications to improve manufacturability, communicating via on-site meetings, phone, and email.

This role requires a 2-year technical degree, 10+ years in machining/fabrication, strong written/verbal communication, and willingness to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a two-year technical degree or equivalent.
• Ten years of technical work experience in machining or fabrication.
• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
• Willingness to learn Oracle/Windchill.
• Must be able to interpret drawings.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Direct suppliers in efficient manufacturing methods to ensure quality products.
• Conduct pre-manufacturing meetings with suppliers.
• Resolve supplier questions related to Elliott drawings and processes.
• Support suppliers with deviations and non-conformances.
• Analyze supplier defects to help establish preventive action.
• Develop technical information such as guidelines and checklists for Elliott components.
• Create procedures for supplier management.
• Interact with Elliott Engineering and Manufacturing to resolve drawing and process discrepancies.
• Conduct supplier audits for qualification.
