Job summary

Energy CX is hiring a Supplier Strategist in Chicago to build and scale our supplier relationships from the ground up. You will design workflows, automate data capture, and act as the data-driven partner in supplier negotiations.

In this role you will manage daily supplier communications, reconcile commissions, and drive improvements across supplier programs, with WFH Fridays and a strong emphasis on growth and accountability.

Qualifications

• Experience managing external partner, supplier, or vendor relationships; able to serve as primary contact and build trust.
• 5+ years in the energy industry.
• Strong process and workflow design to automate and scale supplier data.
• Able to own commission reconciliation against contract terms and catch discrepancies.
• Highly organized and proactive in managing supplier programs.
• Strong Excel and data-tracking skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop the relationship between Energy CX and supplier partners.
• Design and implement operational workflows with suppliers.
• Support negotiations around commission structures and incentives.
• Monitor opportunities to improve ECX's standing with key suppliers.
• Surface intelligence about supplier learnings and priorities.
