Piper Health and Sciences is actively seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist – Supplier Quality to work for a large global biotechnology company.
Responsibilities for Quality Assurance Specialist – Supplier Quality:
- Oversee the approved supplier list (ASL), including internal and external audits, sending quality agreements, evaluation, and remediation.
- Responsible for writing, reviewing, and revising SOPs, CAPAs, deviations, and change controls.
- Manage end-to-end supplier quality processes, including supplier and vendor selection, auditing, ordering raw materials, label review, overseeing change processes, follow-up activities, and remediation.
- Oversee the creation and implementation of process improvement plans, including Lean Six Sigma projects.
Technical Requirements for Quality Assurance Specialist – Supplier Quality:
- Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemical engineering, biochemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology GMP-regulated environment.
- At least 1 year of experience with supplier quality and external auditing.
- Excellent organizational skills and proven experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation & Benefits for Quality Assurance Specialist – Supplier Quality:
- Compensation: $80,000 – 90,000, equivalent hourly rate, contract role.
