Job summary

Royal Oak Enterprises LLC in Roswell, GA is seeking a Supplier Quality Manager to develop and drive our supplier quality program for raw materials, packaging, and purchased services. You will lead supplier qualification, audits, CAPA, KPI monitoring, and continuous improvement to reduce defects and ensure material conformance.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 5+ years in manufacturing quality, Six Sigma/ASQ credentials preferred, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) preferred but not required.
• Six Sigma experience; black or green belt.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Manage third party audits (SGS, BV, Intertek, etc.).
• Establish quality requirements and specifications for purchased materials/products.
• Approve new suppliers through qualification and validation processes.

• Lead supplier corrective action requests (SCARs) and verify effectiveness.
• Drive continuous improvement with suppliers to reduce defects and improve consistency.

Position Summary:

The Supplier Quality Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing Royal Oak's supplier quality program for all purchased raw materials, packaging material, operating supplies, and third party purchased products. This position ensures incoming materials/products meet company specifications, and customer expectations while minimizing quality-related production issues.

The role serves as the primary liaison between Royal Oak and its suppliers on quality matters and is responsible for conducting supplier qualification, supplier performance management, supplier audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage Royal Oak's Supplier Quality Management System.
• Manage third party audits through an outside company (i.e. SGS, BV, Intertek, etc.).
• Establish quality requirements and specifications for purchased materials/products.
• Approve new suppliers through qualification and validation processes.
• Monitor supplier quality performance using scorecards and key performance indicators.
• Lead supplier corrective action requests (SCARs) and verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers to reduce defects and improve consistency.

Position Requirements/Qualifications:

• Preferred bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Operations or a related field.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in Quality Assurance, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or Quality Systems.
• ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), not required but preferred.
• Six Sigma Experience and black or green belt.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.

• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment while in manufacturing environments.
