Job summary

The role partners with EMCOR departments, account teams, and vendors to manage work orders and audits, driving reliability and safety across sites.

Responsibilities include auditing, process improvement, and cost control while maintaining strong customer experience and on-time performance. Occasional air travel is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 7–10 years facilities management experience
  • Experience with audit programs including SMETA/SA8000 or similar
  • Knowledge of safety policies and compliance standards; strong analytical skills

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure service quality and cost efficiency.
  • Plan and conduct audits and quarterly business reviews with top vendors.
  • Develop and implement quality control processes to meet audit standards.

Job Summary

Assumes the overall responsibility for the quality and compliance management of the Siemens Mobility account portfolio. The Quality & Compliance Manager is responsible for working with the EMCOR departments, account teams and suppliers to ensure work orders are managed within the established KPI’s and insuring compliance with Service Provider Social Compliance Standards (SSCS) and local laws. The Quality and Compliance Manager will ensure any audits conducted by a third party, K-C Customer, or internal K-C auditors meet the requirements of the audit. Audits could include a social compliance audit including but not limited to SMETA 4 pillar or SA8000 (SAI) audit. The Quality & Compliance Manager is responsible for managing supplier cost and delivery to all sites. Develop strategies to improve overall reliability and safety of facility. Plan and execution of audits, routine maintenance and improvement projects for facility and equipment. The Quality & Compliance Manager will partner with the Siemens Mobility team to work together to manage the properties, budget, and Customer experience. Additionally, their responsibilities include: ensuring consistency and high performance of services; developing and implementing quality control processes and standards to meet all SMO audits to include regularly auditing site performance and working to address issues. Occasional Air Travel is required to perform these duties. Unwillingness to travel via Air will disqualify candidate.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

This position will work with sub-contracted vendors to ensure we are providing Siemens Mobility with the best service and cost. Develop an auditing process and establish QBR schedule with account Procurement Specialist for our key vendors to hold them accountable to meeting our customer’s expectations. Establish quarterly business reviews with our key vendors (top 5-10 vendors) to develop a strong relationship and partnership. Build and develop the EMCOR culture.

Assist Finance Manager and Regional Managers on all financials; including, but not limited to, monthly billing statements, expense forms, purchase orders, capital forecasting and budget. Work with AP on process improvements with vendors

Work with Continuous Improvement & Reliability team to develop more efficient processes and procedures for site personnel. Key contributor in training on CMMS system and CMMS system development. Utilize six sigma training as a tool to improve processes and procedures. Own the centralized Fire Extinguisher/system software and ensure proper utilization and training across all sites.

Investigate, develop and implement projects, processes or activities to reduce or contain costs, increase quality levels and meet standards. Utilize technical competency, relevant work experience and comprehensive / diverse facilities knowledge to generate creative solutions

Foster a positive work environment with associates and customer. For associates, train, mentor, manage the review process and engage in associate development. For customer, develop and maintain a positive relationship that supports open dialogue.

Promote commitment to environmental health and safety by adhering to safety practices, investigating concerns and making recommendations.

Qualifications

Education

(HS Diploma, Under/Graduate Degree, etc.)

Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be 21 years old or older

Business Experience

(prior years work/related experience)

Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in facilities management.

Licenses/Certifications

OSHA 10 hour and/or 30 Hour card. BOMA, IFMA, LEED Certifications a plus.

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend and develop/document instructions including, but not limited to, safety policies and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in individual and small group situations.

Technical Qualifications & Skills

Requires use of MS Project, Word and Excel. Experience with Enterprise Software and CMMS required.

Physical Demands

Frequent office deskwork, requiring sitting, using phone, and computer. Regularly requires extensive walking when performing site audits and physical building checks. Occasionally requires climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment

Office environment with minimal noise level. Occasionally requires presence on construction projects with exposure to noise, dust and debris. Overnight travel may be required.
