Job summary

VACCO Industries seeks a senior Quality Assurance professional to lead supplier quality and compliance initiatives. You will prevent non-conformities, analyze quality data, and implement corrective actions at supplier sites, including out-of-state travel as needed.

The role requires extensive knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100 and government specifications, with strong communication and blueprint-reading skills. Travel ~20% to supplier locations is expected.

Qualifications

• ISO 9001/AS9100 and government specs knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently at supplier locations.

Responsibilities

• Initiate action to prevent non-conformities in products, processes, and quality systems.
• Identify and record problems relating to product process and quality system.
• Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels.
• Verify implementation of solutions.
• Drive First Time Quality and Zero Defect culture with suppliers.
