Supplier Quality Inspector — New Energies

Job summary

Global Edge Group is seeking a Supplier Quality Representative for our client in the New Energies Industry in Rincon, GA. You will represent the company as the primary contact with suppliers and perform surveillance to ensure material and equipment meet procurement requirements.

Responsibilities include coordinating kickoff and pre-fabrication activities, witnessing inspections, reviewing quality documentation, and ensuring corrective actions are tracked.

Qualifications

• Two years of related experience involving 2,000 hours of in-shop surveillance, examination, or testing.
• High school diploma or equivalent with 1,000 hours of in-shop surveillance, examination, or testing.
• Associate Degree plus 500 hours of in-shop experience in inspection or testing.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel routinely to supplier facilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including surveillance report writing.
• Proficient computer skills: word processing, spreadsheets, and electronic reporting.
• Industry certifications such as ASNT Level II or AWS CWI.
• Experience with ISO 9001, NQA-1, or similar quality programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance and verifications per the assignment and plan.
• Witness operations, inspections, or tests to verify PO requirements are met.
• Review supplier documents for conformance and proper records.
• Ensure sub-suppliers are disclosed and controlled with records.
• Maintain assignment and inspection documentation in the systems.
