Job summary

Anduril Industries in Quonset, RI is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to define, develop, and execute processes that deliver high quality sub-sea components, including connectors, wet cables, mechanical parts, and batteries, for Anduril missions.

This role focuses on collaborating with design teams and suppliers to meet quality requirements the first time and to guide supplier qualification, testing, and continuous improvement across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar technical field.
• 2+ years in supplier quality or manufacturing engineering for sub-sea electronics, wet cable, or battery manufacturing.
• Experience in Electronic Top Level Assembly (TLA) and PCBA manufacturing processes.
• Experience with First Article Inspection to AS9102 and IPC MIL standards.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% to suppliers and sites.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with design teams to support manufacturability feedback and generate product data for batteries and power electronics.
• Apply DFMs and inspection methods to support internal design processes and scale concepts to high-volume production.
• Drive supplier quality development across product stages with engineering and production teams.
• Lead design reviews, supplier process development, testing, and qualification for sub-sea components.
• Support RCCA, MRB, and SCAR processes; ensure supplier actions are tracked and effective.
• Audit suppliers' Quality Management Systems and support on-site supplier audits and reviews.
