Job summary

Vertiv Group Corporation is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer in Pelzer, SC to lead and oversee the quality of supplied materials and ensure compliance with industry standards and production requirements. You will be the main liaison between the plant and suppliers to resolve issues promptly to avoid production delays.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and 3–4 years in a quality role, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required.
• 3–4 years of experience in a quality role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred; CQE/CQA certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support data-driven top customer field issues list with weekly ownership.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.
• Evaluate corrective actions and ensure effectiveness.
• Recommend appropriate remedial activities.
• Present supplier quality performance reports to the organization.
• Communicate outcomes of investigations internally and externally.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Services, Manufacturing, and Corporate Supplier Quality to resolve issues.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by the Quality Manager.
