Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer in Pelzer, SC to lead quality of supplied material and ensure adherence to industry standards and production requirements. You will be the main liaison between production sites and suppliers to resolve issues and prevent delays.

The role focuses on quality assurance, problem resolution, and driving corrective actions with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Corporate Supplier Quality teams to maintain supplier performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 3–4 years’ experience in a quality role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
• CQE and/or CQA certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the quality of supplied material to prevent production delays.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Engineering and Suppliers on corrective actions.
• Present supplier quality performance reports.
• Resolve quality issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Determine data-driven top customer field issues and track status weekly.
