Job summary

Logisnext Americas Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead quality activities aimed at improving production and supplier performance while reducing warranty costs and early failures.

You will partner with Warranty, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Suppliers to resolve issues quickly and drive continuous improvements. The role requires collaborating across teams, managing supplier relationships, administering PPAP, and supporting MRB processes to minimize scrap.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related technical field.
• 0-2 years of experience.
• Proficient with MS Office and able to read and interpret prints/drawings.
• Knowledge of ISO9001, Lean, PFMEA, Six Sigma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Warranty, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supplier and other teams to resolve production/field issues and reduce top warranty claims.
• Maintain a Supplier Quality Management system supporting company initiatives and improve supplier performance.
• Represent Logisnext as primary contact for supplier product and process quality issues.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives involving Supplier Management, Production Procurement, Design, Manufacturing and Quality Engineering.
• Investigate supplier-related defects and drive corrective actions to root cause analysis.
• Support PPAP requirements and MRB processes to reduce scrap and defects.
