Jobot is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to improve supplier performance, support new product launches, and drive continuous improvement across a complex manufacturing supply chain. You will work with sourcing, engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to lift quality and reduce costs.

The role requires strong knowledge of APQP/PPAP, PFMEA, and SPC, with proven root-cause analysis and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Experience in supplier quality or manufacturing quality.
• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA.
• Experience conducting supplier audits and driving corrective actions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor supplier quality performance and drive improvement initiatives.
• Lead root cause investigations, corrective actions, and supplier containment activities.
• Conduct supplier process audits, quality system audits, and capability assessments.
• Support supplier selection, qualification, and development activities.
• Manage APQP and PPAP requirements for new products and engineering changes.
• Review PFMEAs, Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, SPC data, and capability studies.
• Partner with engineering and sourcing teams to identify and mitigate supplier risks.
• Lead supplier quality activities related to new product introductions and product changes.
• Drive supplier cost reduction and value improvement projects.
• Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, manufacturing efficiency, and waste reduction.
• Work cross-functionally to implement supplier-driven productivity and improvement opportunities.
• Track supplier performance metrics and support long-term supplier improvement strategies.
