Job summary

Crane Building Services and Utilities (BSU), part of Crane Co., seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer to lead quality assurance, process improvement, and supplier development. You will interact with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain and Sales to ensure ISO 9001:2015 maintenance and drive IATF Core Tools across the supply base.

The role requires extensive travel and a solid engineering background with Six Sigma Black Belt, APQP experience, and audit capability (QA005).

Qualifications

• HNC Metallurgy / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Extensive understanding and experience in IATF 16949 Core Tools.
• Advanced Product Quality Planning and tools such as process mapping, Design and Process FMEA, and producing process control plans and SOPs.
• Qualified Lead Auditor.

Responsibilities

• Participation in NPD & Productivity Meetings as Quality Representative in support of product realization.
• Support in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation.
• Project management – delivery within programme timings.
• Using IATF 16949 Core Tools across the supply base.
• APQP ensuring operational processes align with design intent for new products.
