Job summary

The Pivot Group Network is partnering with Allegan-area manufacturers to hire a Supplier Quality Engineer. This role focuses on developing and implementing supplier quality programs, leading audits, and addressing root causes of defects to ensure product quality across the supply chain.

The ideal candidate has a engineering degree and 3+ years in supplier quality within manufacturing, with strong knowledge of ISO/QMS standards and quality tools such as PPAP, FMEA and SPC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of supplier quality experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100/IATF 16949 and quality tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop supplier quality improvement programs.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure quality.
• Investigate and resolve supplier-related quality issues and non-conformances.
• Collaborate with sourcing and engineering to define supplier quality requirements for new products.
• Monitor and analyze supplier performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Drive corrective and preventive actions with suppliers to address root causes of defects.
• Participate in supplier selection and qualification processes.
