Job summary

The Pivot Group Network is expanding its West Michigan manufacturing-focused network to connect Mason-based companies with experienced Supplier Quality Engineers. This opportunity focuses on supplier quality programs, audits, CAPA, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering and manufacturing to ensure supplier readiness and ongoing quality.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s in engineering or quality, 3+ years in supplier quality, and strong knowledge of ISO 9001/IATF 16949 and core

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
3+ years experience in supplier quality, quality engineering, or a related manufacturing role.
Demonstrated knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
Proficiency in core quality tools (e.g., FMEAs, Control Plans, SPC, PPAP, 8D problem-solving).
Experience conducting supplier audits and assessments.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement supplier quality improvement programs.
Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Manage supplier corrective actions and drive root cause analysis for non-conformances.
Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to define supplier quality requirements.
Monitor and report on key supplier quality performance metrics.
Participate in new product development to ensure supplier readiness and quality.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives for supplier quality processes.
