Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years as a Quality Engineer, automotive sector preferred.
• Analytical with strong problem-solving and root-cause skills.
• Excellent organization, planning and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of PPAP, Control plans, PFMEA, PFDs, Gage R&Rs and Run at Rate.

Responsibilities

• Review supplier PPAP submissions for compliance and accuracy.
• Coordinate PPAP approvals with suppliers, Inteva teams and customers.
• Coordinate quality assessments, audit findings and non-conformances with suppliers.
• Lead cross-functional supplier meetings to meet Inteva and customer requirements.
• Guide suppliers on quality strategies and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate supplier process audits, run-at-rate verifications and PFMEA reviews.
• Support engineering changes related to suppliers at the Auburn Hills plant.
• Define customer quality requirements with suppliers and participate in APQP activities.
• Interface with team members, customers and suppliers to resolve issues.
• Provide root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for defects.
