Job summary

Android Industries in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking an Advanced Quality Engineer to lead quality activities at plant level through pre-production builds and until exit gate.

Responsibilities include preparing PPAP, leading APQP, developing control plans, acting as SME for commodities, and driving root cause analysis to prevent failures. The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering and 5+ years in automotive quality; strong communication and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
• Quality Certification preferred (CQE, Six Sigma Green Belt, CQA, etc.).
• 5+ years of Quality Engineering and automotive manufacturing/assembly experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare PPAP package per customer requirements for new launches.
• Lead APQP through start of regular production + 90 days.
• Lead the Control Plan development.
• Serve as SME for commodities to support plants during program.
