Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer to oversee and improve supplier quality for direct material suppliers at an assigned site. You will manage the corrective action process, collaborate with suppliers and internal teams, and drive continuous improvement using lean, six sigma, A3, and AIAG tools.

You will lead containment, root cause analysis, and supplier performance measurement while coaching junior staff and supporting product launches.

Qualifications

• Experience in supplier quality engineering and managing corrective actions.
• Strong understanding of PPAP and APQP processes.
• Ability to coach and mentor team members in quality practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support permanent corrective actions and provide guidance for effective resolution of supplier issues.
• Support PPAP and APQP processes to ensure robust supplier quality planning and execution.
• Present corrective action findings and improvement plans to customers in a clear manner.
• Coach and mentor less experienced team members in quality practices.
