Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer (Level 1 or 2) to join our Corrine (Promontory), UT team. This is a 100% onsite role requiring coordination with suppliers, government customers, and internal teams to assure quality in design, fabrication, and inspection of aerospace materials and hardware.

The successful candidate will implement robust supplier quality systems, conduct risk assessments, and support Mission Assurance activities across program phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field; ability to obtain a U.S. government Secret security clearance.
• Experience or ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in supplier quality in aerospace/defense preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supplier quality evaluation and control systems.
• Ensure supplier process and product quality meets contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Interface with supplier personnel to assess supplier quality and manufacturing processes.
• Develop inspection criteria for supplier and receiving inspection plans.
• Drive root cause corrective action for supplier quality issues.
• Support supplier list maintenance and periodic performance reviews.
