Job summary

Gulfstream seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer to drive supplier performance, manage quality systems, and lead CAPA across engineering, operations, and procurement. You will audit suppliers, interpret drawings, and apply Lean/Six Sigma techniques to improve processes.

The role requires a degree in engineering and 2 years in a manufacturing or repair environment, with aviation-specific experience desirable. Travel up to 25% and full-time employment offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, aviation sciences, quality systems, or a related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
• 2 years technical related experience in a manufacturing environment or repair and overhaul facility.

Responsibilities

• Performs all tasks in area of responsibility to support the supplier quality/inspection system and ensures delivered articles comply with quality requirements.
• Manages supplier performance through audits of system, product, and process.
• Certifies suppliers or assesses supplier quality systems as required to applicable standards.
• Coordinates quality assurance program plans, audits, and acceptance tests for Gulfstream suppliers.
• Drives CAPA processes for all suppliers and promotes APQP principles for process control.
• Develops metrics and scorecards to depict supplier health and risk.
