Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace in Savannah, GA is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer II to address supplier performance and quality concerns. You will partner with Engineering, Operations, and Procurement to improve supplier quality systems and drive major quality initiatives with minimal supervision.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering or related field, at least 2 years in manufacturing or repair/overhaul, and experience with supplier audits, CAPA, APQP, and reading engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of technical manufacturing or repair/overhaul experience.
• Experience with supplier quality systems, audits, CAPA and APQP is preferred.
• Knowledge of drawings/blueprints and related quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Address supplier quality concerns and monitor supplier performance.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations and Procurement to drive quality improvements.
• Lead CAPA processes and supplier quality audits to ensure conformance.
• Assist in driving APQP and continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers.
