Job summary

Gulfstream in Savannah, GA is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer III to address supplier quality across the product life cycle. You will monitor supplier QMS, collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Procurement, and drive major quality improvement projects with minimal supervision.

The role prefers a candidate with APQP, Lean/Six Sigma knowledge, and experience in aerospace manufacturing or repair environments. Travel up to 25% is possible.

Qualifications

• Experience in the Aerospace manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with departments and suppliers.
• Experience leading and participating in high-level project management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs supplier quality/inspection system tasks to ensure compliance with design and quality requirements.
• Manages supplier performance through audits and QMS adherence.
• Drives CAPA processes and supports APQP principles with suppliers.
• Develops metrics to gauge supplier health and risk across programs.
• Provides guidance to junior staff and leads quality focus meetings with leadership.
