Job Description

About the team:
The Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible for supporting supplier-related activities such as process control, APQP, problem-solving methodologies, and quality launches for new or modified products, to meet internal and external customer requirements while adhering to global quality standards and corporate policies.

What you can look forward to as a Supplier Quality Engineer:

• Supporting and aligning with the company's corporate principles and goals.
• Understanding and complying with automotive quality requirements.
• Monitoring manufacturing processes and assessing product quality for compliance with customer and company specifications.
• Developing and maintaining quality-related documentation and procedures, including risk analysis, lessons learned, audits, field returns, complaints, scrap, and rework records.
• Interpreting technical drawings and measurement tools (GD&T).
• Applying basic quality tools and problem-solving techniques to support continuous improvement and root cause analysis.
• Collaborating effectively with other departments and maintaining productive relationships.
• Managing engineering changes to ensure conformity with quality standards.

Your Profile as Supplier Quality Engineer:

• 3+ years of experience with strong knowledge of functional and product areas.
• At least 1 year of experience in a quality-related role.
• Expert-level understanding of engineering concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Advanced knowledge of product lines and engineering design principles.
• Extensive experience with engineering change management systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and familiarity with methodologies like Six Sigma.
