Job summary

Rolls-Royce Power Systems in Mankato, MN is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure the quality of materials and components from suppliers by developing, implementing, and auditing quality standards and processes. You will provide technical guidance, coordinate qualification testing, and lead root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.

This role also involves preparing technical documentation, maintaining QA programs, and supporting supplier development to meet engineering and regulatory

Qualifications

• US citizen or eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
• 3+ years in quality or manufacturing engineering
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business/Engineering

Responsibilities

• Oversee supplier quality for materials and products, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop, implement, and audit supplier quality standards, inspection methods, and process controls, including ISO-9001 and SPC.
• Provide technical guidance to suppliers, coordinate qualification testing, and support part certification and new source development.
• Track and analyze failure trends, drive root cause analysis, recommend corrective actions, and communicate high-priority issues to management.
• Prepare and review technical quality documents, maintain QA programs, and mentor less experienced staff.
