Job summary

Rolls-Royce Power Systems AG in Mankato, MN seeks a Quality Engineer for New Product Introduction to embed quality from design through production. You will apply DFSS and FMEA, oversee PFMEA, and validate prototypes to meet performance specs before launch.

You will monitor post-launch quality, escalate issues to senior management, and uphold the Rolls-Royce Code of Conduct while performing special projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelors’ degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing engineering.
• 3 years quality engineering experience with large industrial equipment or 7 years quality engineering with large industrial equipment.
• Ability to work flexible hours or shifts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement NPI quality plans from design to production.
• Collaborate with design and engineering using DFSS and FMEA.
• Oversee PFMEA and prototype testing/validation.
• Conduct launch readiness assessments before product launch.
• Monitor post-launch quality and escalate issues to Sr. management.
• Promote compliance with Rolls-Royce Code of Conduct.
• Perform special projects as required.
