Job summary

Rolls-Royce in Mankato, MN is hiring a Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure quality of materials and products from suppliers. You will develop and audit quality standards, coordinate testing, and drive root-cause analysis for issues.

You will provide guidance to suppliers, prepare technical docs, and support supplier development to meet engineering and regulatory requirements. This is a full-time role in a high-performance culture.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher with quality/engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus 1 year in quality/industrial/manufacturing engineering, or higher degree.
• Master’s or JD/PhD qualifies for advanced consideration.
• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience can substitute for a degree.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supplier quality for materials and products per drawings and specs.
• Develop, implement, and audit supplier quality standards and inspection methods (ISO-9001, SPC).
• Provide technical guidance, coordinate qualification testing, support part certification.
• Track failure trends, drive root cause analysis, implement corrective actions.
• Prepare quality documents and mentor junior staff to raise team competence.
