Job summary

RIX Industries, a leader in gas generation and cryogenic cooling technologies, seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer in Sparks, NV. You will evaluate suppliers, perform audits, lead CAPA activities, and ensure compliance with AS9100/ISO 9001 quality systems.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related technical discipline or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, qualify, and develop suppliers to ensure their processes and products meet requirements.
• Participate in supplier selection and source qualification with cross-functional partners.
• Establish and communicate quality requirements and flow-downs to suppliers.
• Conduct supplier audits, assessments, and process reviews.
• Monitor supplier quality and delivery performance using metrics and KPIs.
• Lead supplier-related root cause investigations and CAPA.
• Review First Article Inspection documentation and support FAI as needed.
• Maintain supplier quality records and participate in internal/external audits.
