Job summary

Google Inc. Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Share Supplier Quality Engineer for Battery/UPS to drive quality across devices and supplier chains. You will contribute to advanced silicon-powered products and own critical RCCA and 8D workflows with external partners.

With 5+ years in quality or reliability roles and expertise in Battery/UPS, you will shape process design and qualification, aligning with mass production goals and delivering robust performance and reliability.

Qualifications

Implement Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) methodologies while partnering with teams to foster their expertise in applying these tools and principles to analyze and resolve failures. Lead the resolution of critical fleet and factory issues by guiding suppliers through RCCA, Failure Analysis (FA), and 8D workflows.

• Drive process design, optimization, and qualification activities of a manufacturing process for a component, part, or product.

Lead cross-functional initiatives during NPI phases to ensure the technical and operational readiness of the Battery/UPS for mass production.

• Partner with design, manufacturing, and commodity teams as the subject matter expert on qualifying and scaling Battery/UPS technologies.

Develop and implement advanced quality plans and process controls (FMEA, DOE, Cpk, etc.) to proactively identify and mitigate risks in the Battery/UPS and PCBA supply chain.
