Job summary

Google Inc. Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Share Supplier Quality Engineer for Battery/UPS to drive quality across devices and supplier chains. You will contribute to advanced silicon-powered products and own critical RCCA and 8D workflows with external partners.

With 5+ years in quality or reliability roles and expertise in Battery/UPS, you will shape process design and qualification, aligning with mass production goals and delivering robust performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience as a quality, reliability or product engineer.
• Experience with Battery/UPS, DC-DC module and PCB assembly technologies.
• Ability to travel as required (15%-20%).

Responsibilities

• Lead RCCA, FA, and 8D workflows with suppliers to resolve failures.
• Drive process design, optimization, and qualification for Battery/UPS components.
• Lead cross-functional NPI initiatives to readiness for mass production.
• Partner with design, manufacturing, and commodity teams on qualifying Battery/UPS tech.
