Job summary

LeoForce in the United States is seeking a mid-level Supplier Quality Engineer to uphold quality across the supply chain in manufacturing. You will assess suppliers, define quality protocols, and drive improvements to meet ISO9001 standards.

Key duties include audits, supplier first article inspections, CAPA with suppliers, cross-functional teamwork, and ongoing knowledge of industry trends. A Bachelor's in engineering and 5+ years' experience are required, with CQE/CQA a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in supplier quality engineering in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO9001 and experience with its implementation and maintenance.
  • Experience with welding processes and standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Proficient in quality tools and methodologies, such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with quality management systems.
  • Certification as a Quality Engineer (CQE), Quality Auditor (CQA), or similar is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality engineering protocols for inspection, testing, and evaluation.
  • Work closely with suppliers to improve product quality and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Conduct regular audits of supplier processes and systems to identify areas for improvement.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This role is crucial to maintaining the highest standards of quality in our manufacturing processes and products.
