Job summary

Woodward is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to evaluate supplier performance, analyze root causes of quality issues, and lead improvement initiatives. You will partner with procurement, engineering, and production to ensure contract adherence and drive quality across the supply base.

The role requires a bachelor's degree (ASQ preferred) and 3–5 years of experience, with SAP experience beneficial. This on-site Illinois position offers strong benefits including retirement and training programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, ASQ certification preferred.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience with SAP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supplier performance evaluation to ensure standards and contract compliance.
• Identify root causes of quality issues and develop corrective actions.
• Lead small improvement projects to enhance supplier processes and quality.
• Collaborate with procurement, engineering and production to align quality objectives.
• Develop and maintain quality reports to support decisions.
