Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc. is seeking a Supplier Quality Surveillance Engineer to support Procurement through supplier quality inspections and audits.

The role requires a strong background in electrical materials, fabrication, testing, and a willingness to travel up to 85% as needed. The ideal candidate will read electrical specs and drawings, perform audits, and help ensure supplier quality aligns with customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Requires Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent experience/certification.
• Minimum 4 years in professional supplier quality with relevance to electrical projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical procurement and vendor surveillance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic to moderately complex QA/QC inspections and audits for materials and equipment.
• Ensure subcontracts meet Rosendin procurement quality standards and customer expectations.
• Read and analyze equipment specs and drawings to guide supplier testing.
• Report quality issues to management and identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Communicate inspection results verbally and in reports; propose corrective actions.
• Support supplier prequalification by reviewing fabricator quality programs and conducting audits.
