Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc. is seeking a Supplier Quality Surveillance Engineer for remote work with frequent travel. You will support procurement in supplier inspections and audits to ensure material quality and compliance with standards.

The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, several years in supplier quality, and the ability to travel up to 85%. You will interact with procurement, project teams, and fabricators to maintain high quality across electrical projects.

Qualifications

• Electrical Eng degree required or equivalent experience/certification.
• 4 years in professional supplier quality.
• 2 years with 2-year technical/associate degree in electrical technology.
• 0-1 years with a 4-year bachelor’s in electrical engineering.
• Familiar with electrical procurement and vendor surveillance procedures and industry codes.
• Travel up to 85% may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality assurance and control shop inspections and audits to ensure materials meet quality and workmanship expectations.
• Assist in ensuring subcontracts meet Rosendin Procurement quality standards.
• Read and analyze equipment specs, drawings, and provide feedback on testing/inspections.
• Report manufacturing problems and assist in root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Communicate inspection results and recommend corrective actions.
• Support supplier qualification by performing supplier audits/assessments.
