Supplier Quality Assurance Specialist - Contract Manufacturing

This role involves supporting quality assurance protocols and regulatory compliance across our network of contract manufacturers. The specialist will work closely with the Senior Manager of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance to ensure product quality and regulatory standards are met. The position requires frequent travel (up to 50%) to collaborate with co-manufacturers and suppliers, so proximity to a major airport is necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Systems: Maintain and improve SOPs, conduct supplier audits, support CAPA investigations, manage product specifications, and analyze supplier performance data.
2. Quality Control: Review production records, coordinate inspections, and ensure adherence to food safety standards.
3. Continuous Improvement: Participate in QMS audits, analyze KPIs, and stay current with FDA regulations to support improvements and regulatory interactions.
4. Regulatory Compliance: Monitor relevant regulations, support interactions with government agencies, including the FDA.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in biology, food science, or related field.
• At least 3 years of QA or regulatory compliance experience, preferably in the beverage or CPG industry.
• Experience with supplier audits or managing co-manufacturing relationships.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QA software tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, residing near a major airport.
• Knowledge of FDA regulations and food safety systems is preferred.
