Job summary

American Honda Motor Co., Inc. in the United States seeks a Senior Engineering Lead to advance supplier stability with a regional mindset across NA manufacturing. You will partner with Honda technical leaders to drive root-cause analysis and rapid containment for critical OEM suppliers.

Under limited supervision, you will manage a team to implement short- and long-term countermeasures, coordinate with HDMA management, and maintain customer satisfaction. Travel up to 33% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent related experience.
• 8+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Manufacturing process knowledge (stamping, welding, assembly, etc).
• HONDA delivery systems knowledge (GPCS).

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct situation appraisal and analysis of a supplier crisis on a specific part or assembly process.
• Oversee implementation of immediate corrective action plan (short term and long term) at critical suppliers.
• Escalate communication and summary reviews with supplier and HDMA Management.
• Manage critical proactive projects (Capacity Management / LMPR / A-Rank NARS reporting, Shutdown).
• Support root cause analysis and countermeasure implementation to ensure timely closure.
